Nygone 24
We are often asked how to remove tough aerospace coatings such as Nycote. We are now pleased to launch our solution, Nygone 24 remover. Water-based, using benzyl alcohol/peroxide chemistry, Nygone 24 is a user-friendly, effective coating remover with low/no corrosive impact on aerospace substrates. Our friendly pink product hangs up well on vertical surfaces and quickly removes Nycote coatings, as well as most epoxy and polyurethane coatings used in aerospace and defense applications.

Nygone 24 Application
Initial application of Nygone 24 to an aerospace substrate coated with aerospace primer and polyurethane topcoat aged for more than 2 years. Good wetting and flow and good hang up if applied to a vertical surface. Low odor and low toxicity.
Nygone 24 In Progress
Coating removed in less than 2 hours at 72F/22C. The coating system is completely removed down to the substrate and can be easily pushed off the surface with a paint brush. No staining or etching of the substrate.
